Hi!

Cant find any post prosessor for siemens 840, I got a Emco PCmill 125, what to do?

Hi Beefheart, and welcome to the forum. Do you have an example gcode that runs on your machine? Or a link to a manual? I've Googled "Siemens 840" and "Emco PC mill 125" and don't come up with anything. The PC mill 125's I've seen so far online have Fanuc controllers. I did find an Emco WinCam manual, and the gcode it produces looks pretty standard. But I don't know for which models it makes gcode.

I'm not familiar with a PC mill 125 at all, but the pictures I see online show an integrated toolchanger. That is pretty cool. Does it work with just a Tn command or does it need discrete commands to raise the head at toolchanges?

Anyway, I'm sorry but I'm coming up with a blank without a little more information.
